Skincare built for harsh outdoors, not office lighting.
Redirecting to saesonskincare.com…
I know what you’re probably thinking, and you’re right – it is a bit of a cliché:
“Does the world really need another skincare brand?”
On paper, the answer is probably no. Shelves are full, ads are loud, and there’s a cream for everything already.
But I still think there’s a gap – not for just another skincare brand, but for a very specific kind of one:
a small, focused, slightly obsessive brand that only cares about one thing: skin that either has been- or will be outside all day.
For me, Soloacme comes down to two simple facts:
Soloacme is what happens when those two parts of my life kiss.
I want Soloacme to be a one-stop shop for outdoor skin products.
If you hike, camp, climb, paddle, or just spend more time outside than inside, I want you to be able to pack your bag, open your kit, and see Soloacme on the labels:
Nothing fancy for the sake of it. No 15-step routines. Just a tight, well-thought-out range of products that earn their place in your backpack.
A big part of this is trust.
I want Soloacme to be the kind of brand where you don’t have to second-guess what’s inside the tube. A brand you reach for because you know:
The outdoors is already harsh enough on skin. Your skincare doesn’t need to be.
On a personal level, Soloacme is also my attempt to design a life I actually want to live.
My passion is being out there – in the Highlands, on trails, in the kind of weather most people run from. I would like to build a life where that isn’t just what I do on holiday, but something my work is connected to every day. Soloacme is my way of trying to make that real: a small, focused brand where the products are tested in the field, not just in a lab or in front of a bathroom mirror.
I don’t know exactly where this journey will end. We’re in the very early stages. There is no big team, no glossy campaign, no global distribution map on the wall. It’s just me, a clear idea, and a lot of work ahead.
What I do know is this: if any of this resonates with you – if you love being outside, if you care about what goes on your skin, if you like the idea of a tiny, slightly stubborn brand built around that intersection – then maybe you’ll want to follow along, test the products, give feedback, and, in your own way, be part of building Soloacme.
I’m trying to create something small, honest, and useful.
Hopefully, some of you will want to join that journey.
If any of this is remotely of interest to you, you can follow my journey by signing up to my email list, and I will keep you posted on product development, the hard choices I might need help with, and future product launches – if we ever get to that.
